It’s Monday, which means it is time again to hook up with the dedicated readers of the Book Date Blog and start talking about the kinds of things we’re all currently reading. I read a couple of things last week that I am working on reviews for. I have a bunch of posts I need to edit, because I am still on the mend, it’s been pretty crazy.
Essential Lessons from Cats
- Those tall people are here for your amusement.
- It’s okay when you might fall, if you recover quickly, no one saw it.
- ANYWHERE is comfortable.
- If someone tells you not to sit there, please see #3.
- You’re the important one, always remember that.
Each Monday, The Book Date asks what we’re reading… Please visit the site to link up your current list and hold yourself accountable. Also, you can visit some great blogs who are also doing this meme… It’s pretty awesome to hold myself accountable.
I read 4 books last week. 4 physical, but I also had an copy arc of one! That is funny how that worked out.

And FMS photo a day may also happen.
And, because my word is fierce, I am sharing most of these on Instagram.
I have posted previously about the awesomeness of a Beautiful Mess. Apart from their cool website and blog, the design cool products and applications–their new app, A Color Story, was able to take a photo I loved and amp it up just a little bit.
The original photo (left) was taken in not very nice light conditions, and while the magical unicorn horn exists, it just looks like a trick of the light, perhaps a fold in the duvet cover.
Whoa, I cannot believe it has been a month. But things have gone pretty awesome for me as I focus on the awesome.
Today I had a headache, but all is well now. I was able to catch up on some reading and housekeeping (and even groceries).
I made a test run of a choose your own adventure type novel for nano and was able to do the links the way I wanted to.
Awesome is being done with the workweek, and getting to talk to my brothers… And watching some movies/tv we need to catch up on with the husband. I have comics and books to read and some ideas percolating for NaNoWriMo.
What are you planning that’s awesome at the end of this month?
Thursday, and it feels like it should already be Saturday. Today was rough, but I just took the setbacks at work in stride and did my best.
Like the coworker who got lauded for doing such a great job. However, said coworker ‘helped’ a caller today and basically did nothing. In fact, the caller stated as much when they got me on the line an hour later—the coworker said ’there is nothing I can do’.
