It’s Monday, March 2nd What are You Reading?

It’s Monday, January 5, 2015. Happy New Year! This also means it is the first ‘It’s Monday, What are you Reading’ of the year. Hosted by Sheila at Book Journey, Monday is a great day to take stock of what you’re currently reading.

I like it because it holds me accountable. And, because I succeeded at the 120 books read in 2014 (via Goodreads), I agreed to read 200 in 2015—I’ve done it before, and for many years read at least that many, but life has come in the way. But, beyond that, I want to publish more reviews this year. I have so many that I’ve written that have not been transcribed. This is a huge oversight and does nothing to help my cause. I need entries to make everyone interested! This is a predominantly a review blog and without those reviews, I have nothing to offer. So, provided I read an average of 15-20 books a month, I can do this! And, I would love to hear your goals.

The last week went by pretty quickly and I felt like I did not get as much reading done as I would have hoped.

Last week, I read one book—Daughter of Deep Silence (it’s been a WEEK, for sure!). The review is forthcoming.

GothamGal talked about her favorite iPad game (with a comic twist) and her trip to the Marvel Experience. I broke down a successful LetterMo, as well as discussed 30 Days of Lists from a blog hop. I reviewed Murder at the Academy Awards: A Red Carpet Mystery by Joan Rivers, with Jerrilyn Farmer and The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty.

I got a specifically just for blogging planner from Inkwell Press, which I am LOVING, and will have to share this week. I also thought I ran out of my favorite pen, so I ended up buying a few of these pens from JetPens.com, and promptly found another one that I had yet to use—but now I am set for a month or two!

So, it’s Monday, what are you reading? Share what’s been going on, or tell me where you’re posting about the week in the comments below!
