It’s Monday, What are you Reading?

Last week, I worked on my work-life balance. And I was super happy with the results. I helped a family member at a doctor’s office by getting off of work a little early and even got a job offer with that (but it’s not what I’m currently looking for right now). I read 18 books, wrote a few letters (hitting my total of 5 that I had hoped to write) and worked on a few side projects. I also have a semi-clean computer wallpaper. See for yourself:

Each month, I rely on Smashing mag to get a wallpaper. This is the first one that I’ve used without the calendar numbers on it. They’re free, and I’ve been using them for the better part of 10 years.

I did a little online shopping, for some deals and wishlist items, and we’re continuing to direct most of our funds towards saving for a home. I also completed my Summer Reading program for the LA county library. It started on the 12th of June, so I was a bit of an overachiever there.

I’m hoping to read a business book, an art book and some library ebooks. I’ve been really lucky lately with trying to get more than 5 books as a goal, so we’ll set it at 10 again, but I also want to update my Goodreads record to better reflect what I have read. It has me woefully behind.
