What Am I Reading on monday?
It’s Monday, so BookJourney Meme, here I go!
I have been unable to tear myself away from this lately. Hauntingly good mystery, psychological thriller.
I have to confess, it reminds me a little bit like that movie ‘Eyes Wide Shut.’ I feel a little odd reading it, and at night it’s pretty bad–sometimes I hear things and think it might be something from the book–and it doesn’t help that the shadows from my surge protector create a hooded sort of figure on the wall. I think the psychological aspects of it are what draw me to the book and make me pick it up, LOL. There is something unsettling about the characters portrayed in this book. Something dark.
What are you reading? Do you like psychological books?

December 9, 2013 at 10:02 amI am definitely a fan of psychological thrillers, and I’ve had my eye on this one. Loved Eyes Wide Shut, but it’s not a movie I like to watch over and over…lol.
Thanks for visiting my blog…enjoy your week.

December 9, 2013 at 6:46 pmI haven’t read many books that I would consider psychological thrillers, so it’s hard to say. I suspect they are just right when someone is in a certain mood.

December 9, 2013 at 9:36 pmYou should read Patricia Highsmith’s The Talented Mr. Ripley. One of the best psychological thrillers.
