31 Days of Awesome : Day 4
Wow! It’s October 4th already. How crazy is that?
I started off the day with Chips and Guacamole–that was pretty awesome.
I have a confession, I am a little bit dehydrated, so it took me quite a while to get up this morning. Like, a LOT. I lingered in bed and drifted in and out of sleep a lot. I had, maybe, PART of a bottle of water yesterday. So I got up, sprayed some sinus saline spray up the nostrils (I have noticed that this helps a LOT when I am dehydrated because my sinuses dry up and make me miserable later). So now I am drinking copious amounts of this… And I feel a LOT better.
I felt a lot better, almost instantly. So the lesson is to make sure that you drink your water!!!
Oh, finally got the Chromebook on the Resort wifi–which was COMPLETELY awesome. So we get 2 free devices on the wifi, and I struggled, yesterday, with having the devices OFF the wifi, but the resort login still wasn’t having it. Finally, this morning, it worked out. Which is great. The idea behind getting a Chromebook was so that we didn’t have to lug a huge laptop with us. I want to try and get this sorted out before NaNoWriMo, as this is a lot better an option than lugging my large, and slow, laptop. I am willing to sacrifice some of the apps that I love on my workhorse, but I have noticed that word, excel and photoshop have made my lovely computer nearly keel over. Just ONE of them kills the system, which is bad.
We’re driving home tonight, which is sad (because I would love a few more days of rest and relaxation), but I think we’ll head to downtown proper one more time before we go home. Look for updates later tonight if that happens!
I am looking forward to clearing up a few to-do list items today (and tomorrow), as well as finishing up a few reviews. Yay! Life is awesome, right now.
How is your #write31 project coming along? What awesome has happened to you, lately?

October 5, 2015 at 12:36 amI need to drink more water too. I always do good during the week but then in the weekend I kind of stray away. I like the idea of having a smaller laptop, I traded my huge 17inch for a MacBook. I’ve been slacking on the blogging lately so I’d love to try the prompts.

October 7, 2015 at 8:28 pmOh goodness, yes! Water is soooo important. I can tell immediately if I haven’t had enough. It’s good for pain management too – more hydration = less pain.
