Wow! What a great week so far. I did get locked out of the house briefly today (with the UPS guy when the door code didn’t unlock, and my hair was in a towel). But I got an order I was eagerly anticipating, got to spend some time with my in-laws (and a yummy dinner and catch up with them) and got to spend some quality time with my husband at a bookstore…
Today was an awesome and a not-so awesome day. I was hoping to receive Rainbow Rowell’s book, Carry On today, but it was not meant to be. UPS did not update their site very timely, and Amazon did not have information, either. It would appear UPS mis-scanned the item. But, have no fear, because awesomeness abounds…
I lived in Ohio for just over 20 years, having moved there when I was almost eight years old.
Wow! It’s October 4th already. How crazy is that?
I started off the day with Chips and Guacamole–that was pretty awesome.
I have a confession, I am a little bit dehydrated, so it took me quite a while to get up this morning. Like, a LOT. I lingered in bed and drifted in and out of sleep a lot. I had, maybe, PART of a bottle of water yesterday.
Write 31 challenges us to have 31 days… and mine is celebrating the awesome.
It was my birthday, and that alone was awesome.
And then I also got to go to ulta and get an amazing makeover from R
And then sushi
And Lush! Thanks to Jill and the amazing team at Lush Mandalay Bay!
When I heard of the 31 Days Project, a writing challenge that challenges you to blog every day about one topic, it was a no-brainer that I needed to do it. After all, this is a month until NaNoWriMo.
And, to keep with the themes I have outlined on the blog previously, I knew exactly what my best post project would be–31 Days of Awesome. Because I need a place where I can celebrate the awesome!
