Fun Times with Iced Tea

Return of the Iced Tea Maker

Iced Tea Maker If you know me, you know that my two go-to drinks are water and iced tea. Neither sweetened. But when I moved, the iced tea pitcher shattered and I was trying to find a good replacement. I was gifted this for Valentine’s day and it was so incredibly sweet.

I cleaned out the machine and then set it up. It has a removeable basket and basket case for easy cleaning. Additionally, it has a button on the top that lets you control how much brewed tea makes its way into the pitcher. I really love it. It was so easy. I had to fill the water pitcher completely and add some of my pellet ice to the pitcher.

Then I ran into an issue. The pitcher didn’t fit into the fridge. So I had to use two large mason jars to put the tea into while it was in the fridge.

Harney and Sons Earl Gray ImperialI realized I had an issue–that I need to fill my stash with some reasonably priced teabags. The Harney and sons Earl Grey Imperial makes some great iced tea, but it’s also a bit cost prohibitive. So I’ll be picking up some Lusianne, I think.

What’s your go-to drink?
