2021, Goodreads

Goodreads, or it didn’t happen!

Goodreads, or it didn’t happen!

19 Books read for the year! More than that, they are in Goodreads and up to date on my handy-dandy Google docs chart.
Which, to be honest, is kind of amazing. This is one area I’ve suffered in the last few years, and I’ve made some concrete changes to adapt and excel at making sure I read these books AND also get out there and make sure people know I read them.

I remember last year getting people asking about my Goodreads, and while I have tech that updates, it doesn’t always work for GR updates. I wish there was a better option. But, with that said, keeping myself accountable and mindful will do wonders for the whole thing.
I’ve had some books I’ve loved so far this month (Olivia Dade’s Spoiler Alert, Robin Ha’s Almost American Girl and Karen-Marie Moning’s Darkfever), I’ve also had some book that I’d like to forget (Looking at you Brandon Sanderson’s White Sand Vol 1, Patricia Cornwell’s The Bone Bed, and Carmen Maria Machado’s The Low, Low Woods).
I’m looking to finish around 275 books this year, and since I read 360 last year, I think I can do it. I’m hoping with this new way that I’m doing this to get rid of the massive (5-10) loss of books I seem to see from my planner to Goodreads.

I’m also working on editing my 2020 NaNoWriMo novel, so I’ve been less active here than planned.
