It’s Monday (first of the Year)–what are YOU reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading

Each Monday, The Book Date asks what we’re reading…  Please visit the site to link up your current list and hold yourself accountable. Also, you can visit some great blogs who are also doing this meme… It’s pretty awesome.

So, without further ado, here are the books I am currently reading! This is the physical list for this week. As I am participating in the TBR Triple Dog Dare Challenge (hosted by James Reads), so I did receive a book I ordered in 2015–I have two more coming to me, otherwise the books I have picked up via Kindle deals are going to be read after April 1, 2016.

AlwaysReiding_TheBookDateI am reading Winter as my First Book of 2016 (despite having already finished a different book!) which is hosted by Book Journey. I am so excited for this book, despite its 800 pages, which seem daunting.

Star Wars Smuggler’s Run is a Han Solo and Chewbacca YA novel, that tells a story between earlier episodes. I am waiting for the 3 other in the series. We’re seeing Episode VII for the fourth time on Sunday and I hope the novelization is on time to give me a little insight into other stuff in the movie.

And Fables Vol 21 and 22–to end the series, hopefully in a really great and decent way. I have no idea if that will happen or not. I might be sad at the end, but at least it happened.

My penpal group is doing a book challenge, and I am also signing up for PopSugar’s annual challenge. With 200 books, I do not think I will run into running out of books to read that relate to challenges, so we shall see.

It’s Monday, what are you reading? Let’s connect on Goodreads. You can also follow me via BlogLovin’ to check out all the books I read this year! Leave a comment below and I will follow you back!

The penpal challenge sounds interesting. Yes with a 200 book goal you should have plenty of coverage. Hope Winter is turning out well. Wow 800 pages. I thought mine was long enough at almost 600. Nothing like starting the year with big books!

Thank you so much for visiting, Kathryn.
It is a lot of fun, but apparently apart from the reviews, we cannot share outside of the group. Still, however, I think it could be fun.

      Enjoy your big books, too!

I am just starting with Cinder – and I heard that Winter is indeed a HUGE tome of a book. Wow. 800 pages is daunting.

    800 pages?

That would scare me away before I started. LOL!!

ENJOY, and have a great week.
