It’s Monday, What are You Reading?
Each Monday, The Book Date asks what we’re reading… Please visit the site to link up your current list and hold yourself accountable. Also, you can visit some great blogs who are also doing this meme… It’s pretty awesome.
In the last week, I hit over 110 books read for the year (my Goodreads challenge goal is 200–I went through a new system of book record keeping so I found out I lost about 7 books, eek!) So, without further ado, here are the books I am currently reading! I really want to keep the pace I have been trying for throughout the last week, I read 8 books! I want to possibly surpass this pace, but I don’t know, just based on my workload and home projects that it will be possible… We shall see!
Lumberjanes vol 3–I feel like I keep falling behind on this series, mostly because I really savor it when I do read it. I am really excited to dig into volume 3, as I just got volume 4. Prince Lestat is a book I got when it came out, but I never got into it. I am redoubling my efforts in the hopes that I can finish the thing. I was introduced to Anne Rice on a transatlantic flight when I was 13, so it would be nice to complete this (in case Anne Rice decides not to write about them again). Harmony is proving to be a little heavy, and I’m only 7% into it. Every time I try to read it, I read a page or two and then put it down. It feels too heavy.
Of course, I’ve read some pretty heavy books lately, so I don’t really see this as an excuse. How about you? It’s Monday, what are you reading?

August 15, 2016 at 8:43 pmIt’s funny you’re finishing up Rice’s Vampire series; I just added them to my TBR last night. I did read the first few way back in college. I didn’t know there were so many more.
