It’s Monday, What are You Reading?

It’s Monday, which means it is time again to hook up with the dedicated readers of the Book Date Blog and start talking about the kinds of things we’re all currently reading. I read six books last week, a private group I am in is doing a book challenge and so I’ve been reading a lot for that.

Okay, honesty times, I’ve not been having good days at work–one of the accounts I work with just started, and they average 140 calls a day… It feels like the phone never stops ringing. In addition to my voice being not so great, I’ve been getting migraines. It’s not fun times. Luckily I’ve been able to take some Advil and work on alternative pain therapies and things have been getting a little better. Additionally, my computer is at the hospital–I’m using a loaner MacBook Air currently. I miss my laptop. SO much. LOL.

I’m working on a challenge for TBR and Beyond bookclub where you roll a dice and then end up having to read a book that corresponds to that category on a boardgames board. I finished the first book yesterday after work, which was fun. Now I have a middle grade and a book featuring travel to read… I think I’m re-reading Sideway Stories from Wayside School by Louis Sachar for the former–I remember liking that but being a bit weirded out by it as a kid.

This is the ARC I’m most looking forward to finishing right now:

It’s really cool–there’s politics, and small town America. And the fictionalization is so awesome right now. It’s Monday, What are you reading?
