It’s Monday, What are You Reading?
It’s Monday, which means it is time again to hook up with the dedicated readers of the Book Date Blog and start talking about the kinds of things we’re all currently reading. I read eight books last week, a private group I am in is doing a book challenge and so I’ve been reading a lot for that.
I got my computer back and am still moving things around here and there–I really need to spend a bit more time trying to reorganize it. That’s a project for another day, for sure! I’m reading a book that I just got for review–Watching You by Lisa Jewell. It’s spooky good, but definitely more on that later.
I also snuck in about two hours very early this past weekend to get my hair done (thank Goodness for early Saturday morning appointments, especially considering both of our cars had to be taken to the shop this weekend)–I’ve moved on from a Ginger to a Mary Anne. That’s right, I’ve finally gotten rid of my brassy hair. I was told a long time ago that I have extremely varigated hair–it may look dark, but once you see it there is a lot of gold and red. So I finally went with it. I LOVE what they did at the Salon (it’s been a while since I went to a real salon). What do you think? I keep feeling like I don’t have a lot of hair because there was about 4-6 inches cut off, but it feels a lot lighter.
And speaking of lighter, I keep wanting to go back to that book–Lisa Jewell is certainly compelling. I want to thank Simon & Schuster for thinking of sending me an ARC to read in exchange for my honest review (which is forthcoming).
