It’s Monday, What are you Reading with the Book Date
Each Monday, The Book Date asks what we’re reading… Please visit the site to link up your current list and hold yourself accountable. Also, you can visit some great blogs who are also doing this meme… It’s pretty awesome.
In the last week, I hit 182 books read for the year (my Goodreads challenge goal is 200) So, without further ado, here are the books I am currently reading! I really want to keep the pace I have been trying for throughout the last week.
Last week, I read the following:
Fooling Around with Cinderella
Armada
The Royal We
Furiously Happy
Shockaholic
Writing Down the Bones
The photo below shows what I intend to read this week. INTEND being the operative word (because I have Christmas cards, letters and a bunch of other things that need to get done. Agh! Welcome to the holidays.
I have heard amazing things about Brooklyn and it looks lovely. I am one of those read-the-book-first people, so I have to read it if I really want to see it!
It’s #HPDec and I need to catch up on books 3 and 4, I totally did not focus on Harry Potter in the last week, which was a failure on my part.
Star Wars is coming out this weekend, and I need to study up! Lost Stars and Aftermath take place after episode 6 (the one with the Ewoks) and before episode 7 (which opens on Thursday night/Friday morning). They help set up the world since Disney is disavowing the amazing EU fans lovingly created.
The Bassoon King is a book we’re passing around the #LEP, it started funny!
I got sent Pretty Girls by the publisher (#FRC2015) and want to read it so hard.
Overall, I think it is pretty doable. I’ve spent a little time this week maintaining my crafty and also working on learning how to make videos about stationery. And, with two trips to Disneyland last week (fact-finding missions, as they were), I also tried to keep up with my daily step goal and stay happy. Things are going better, but I am also feeling exhausted due to the stress. I have SO MANY Christmas cards to do tonight…And wrapping presents to send to people. Agh!
Hey, it’s Monday–what are you reading?
