It's Monday! What Are You Reading

In the last week, I hit over 100 books read for the year (my Goodreads challenge goal is 200) So, without further ado, here are the books I am currently reading! I really want to keep the pace I have been trying for throughout the last week. I want to possibly surpass this pace, but I don’t know, just based on my workload and home projects that it will be possible…

It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

I listened to an audiobook last week within two full days (The Sound of Gravel). Now I’m listening to Framed: Why Michael Skakel Spent Over a Decade in Prison for a Murder He Didn’t Commit, but I am not sure if this is a good fit for right now, I’m jelling into it more than I was with The Nest, however. I also took a break from the Book of the Month club this month–there was a title that jumped out to me, but I am still wanting to finish Modern Lovers (above) which was my first BOTM book choice.

I finished a few other books last week, and am excited for this week. First up, Modern Lovers, which is a BOTM club pick from July. It sounds like a great read. The Union of the State contains a verbal history and account of the State, which is one of the best comedic troupes (in my opinion) to come out of the generation before me–it was an ARC so I’m working on completing it.

Also, I’m working on going through the High Summer Readathon at Seasons of Reading. If you want to join, sign up here.

Awesome that you have reached 100 towards your goal. You are pretty much on track to achieve the goal so all the best.
