• Keep the Glitter Off the mailpiece.
• Keep it gender neutral.
• Use stickers (if any) that will appeal to anyone.
• Forget the smelly ink, paper and stickers.
• Use bright colors.
• Be respectful and fun!

A Penpal is a penpal, regardless of gender. But just remember, sometimes the things your uber-feminine penpals find awesome may not be appreciated by your male penpals. Above, you can see I wrote a fun note on the envelope, but made sure to add a Goofy and Luke Skywalker sticker. Sometimes, flowery letters are not appreciated by the significant other in their lives.
