One Little Word for 2017

OLW_2017One Little Word for 2017

Hi everyone! I am so happy that you’re with me in 2017. How crazy is it that it’s already 2017?
If your 2016 has been anything like mine, you experienced some highs and lows–now we have 2017. I predict awesome things for 2017. For you, and me both!

The last couple of years, I have been doing Ali Edwards’ One Little Word (OLW) project, where it calls on people to pick a word of the year and have that guide their year. In 2015 it was ‘awesome’ (really good year) and last year it was ‘fierce’. This year, for 2017, I am picking a word that I think will be so perfect for me.

Rebel (n)  a person who resists any authority, control, or tradition. My choice of this word is more relating to me rebelling against thoughts, feelings and actions that prevent me from leading a truly authentic and awesome life.

What is the word you want to guide your 2017? Please share in the comments below.

My word this year is “be”…my goal is to cherish the every day moments and stop looking so far down the road all the time. Love your word Nicole!

I think this is such a great word! I feel like we have to fit into this cookie cutter sometimes, and we don’t get to be ourselves and be unique.. this is such a perfect word for times like these! 🙂 I’m so happy I came across your blog!

hmmm… ‘free’ is for me this year. I’m reeling in some childcare and getting some independence back. Bring on 2017!

I love your attitude, and your name (I am a huge fan of pickles, LOL). I think you’re going to ROCK 2017!

Free is a great word. I cannot wait to see how it manifests for you.
