A Trip to Remember: Sara Benincasa’s DC Trip

I have had a longtime love affair with Washington DC. I’ve been there 3 or 4 times and each time I consider moving there–until I remember the insane summer heat and the chilling cold of winter. And the awesomeness of the museums is offset by the craziness of the political realm–you really have to LOVE it to live there.

There are stories that I was indoctrinated into the world of British comedy very early on in life. I remember lots of British humor, but none was as familiar to me as that of John Cleese–whether it be Monty Python, Fawlty Towers or A Fish Called Wanda.
