It’s Monday, What are you Reading?

It’s Monday, which means it is time again to hook up with the dedicated readers of the Book Date Blog and start talking about the kinds of things we’re all currently reading.

I have been in library and donation mode, so a lot of what I have been reading relates to that. I sent 19 YA and geeky books to the Rubber City Book Posse in anticipation of a release they are doing in conjunction with Geek Watch One. I have about 20 more books to send, and so I’ve been trying to read them and get them ready to leave–this is a huge priority for me this week. I failed a little bit on that last week, but I had a reason…

Last week, I was REALLY sick. Thanks to food poisioning, I was not reading between 2-3 days last week. That was such a big deal for me–I felt like it was a little bit of a failure (I get bad headaches if I’m sick, which usually impacts my reading–it’s no joke when I say ‘If I can’t read, I must be sick.’)

I got to read a great set of books last week, including a three book box set and two comic books. I want to read some library books and some books to release this week.
