The Ripped Bodice Delivers Love
(in More Ways than One)!
We always hear how important it is to take care of ourselves, but it has really come into play as we determine our new normals in light of Covid-19. Puzzles, games, books–the arts have done their part to keep us entertained. The Ripped Bodice is going above and beyond in their quest to be the awesome, independently-owned bookstore you need.
I send out a lot of mail. Most of the time I have that perfect card or stationery. But sometimes I don’t. Now that might be some people’s way of saying that piece of correspondence is not meant to be—I am here to tell you that is not the case.
I am sending a card to a stranger through the Oh So Happy Mail group on Facebook. Since I’ve never met the person,
While it may be six months in, I have only attended two of the six meetings of the Snail Mail Social Club of California and I was blown away. With the attendance from my last meeting easily tripled, we met at a food court at a mall out in Montclair.
I got back into Postcrossing, as well as sent mail on some official postcards from the snail mail society AND a postcrossing group.
I was cleaning my laptop recently and noticed that there was a slight rip in my old keyboard cover (the one that matched my computer clamshell cover).
They are pretty cheap, and made of silicone, so lasting for about two years is surprising with as much as I use my computer (my laptop is my main computer). So I made the decision to get a functional one—one that contains all the shortcuts! It is SO much nicer to type with this.
I got some Happy Mail on Friday, and I’m working on them right now. I recently discovered Christina Lauren, so I am anxiously awaiting this book. And I have always enjoyed Lisa Jewell–her thrillers are great.
