It’s Monday, What are you Reading? Happy April
Hi! I’m participating in It’s Monday, What are YOU Reading? Hosted by the Book Date. It’s been quite a while since I participated in this, and I really missed it!
As I’ve been busy with some home stuff, and haven’t had too much time to update. Which is sad. BUT we’re almost done cleaning out the garage, and that will be a huge weight off my back.
There doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day–I know some people feel that way, too.
I just finished Catwoman: Lonely City. It’s a graphic novel about Catwoman. After spending about 10 years in prison, Selena Kyle comes back to a changed Gotham City. The events that put her in jail, Fool’s night, meant most of the Bat Family are dead. Mayor Harvey Dent (yes, formerly known as Two Face) is presiding over this new Gotham. A Gotham where masks are not allowed. And Selena sees the differences and immediately wants to fix them, she knows of one way to do that. And she’ll have to assemble a team and use all her old skills under the radar… I really enjoyed this book–there were a ton of old characters that I’ve lowkey loved reading about.
I also am reading an Ann Rule book for a book challenge group I’m in on Facebook. It’s called But I trusted you. I also am trying to finish a prequel book to the new DnD movie AND a Star Trek: Strange New Worlds book. I’m doing a buddy read for Legends and Lattes and it was really good.
It’s Monday, what are you Reading?
