Thanksgiving 2015: Thanks, sincerely

ThanksGiving AlwaysReidingThanksgiving has been a bit weird. We started off the day driving to my Grandmama’s home so we could head to the restaurant. We stopped just after leaving home, when we saw a man in the middle of the road, right in front of a car. We called 911 and I jumped out of the car, to wait with the guy–it would appear that he was crossing outside of a sidewalk and fell down between 2 cars. a few people walked him over to the bus stop, but then left him! One guy stayed, but didn’t call the police because he ‘didn’t hit him.’

We stayed until the police came, and were lucky enough to speak with him a little (he seemed shaken up, and definitely a bit out of it) and make sure no one else left him. And, we got to the house soon after. Thankfully, we got to the restaurant and waited for the rest of the family and then had an amazing meal (if you are ever near the Rusty Pelican in Newport Beach, you should go) and then back to the house for Yatzee. I won both games, oddly enough. And then we captured/staged a photo because the first time I tried to capture a ‘bro’ hug, it didn’t work out–the top photo on the left is hilarious!

What did YOU do for thanksgiving?
