I have a serious confession to make. Apart from all my paper love and sticker love, there is one other thing that I simply MUST have… PINS.
Not just any pins, mind you, enamel pins, specifically those that make me happy. Or remind me of a time or event that was special to me. Because of their size, they are easy to transport and even easier to store. Functionally, you can always use them to add a bit of flair to whatever you might be wearing that day.
Happy Mail ::Holiday Mail Dates::
The USPS went above and beyond today and published the dates for holiday mailing this year–this is PRICELESS information if you are like me and send letters (you know, partially to keep the lines of communication open and partially because YAY!). These are the dates you need to keep in mind for domestic items:
And, in another stroke of genius, we even have international dates–check them out here:
My Grown Up Pen
I’ve made no secret of my love for pens AND for fountain pens. Since I’d had much more luck with a TWSBI Eco pen (no calluses on my finger like on the Lamy Safari pens I’d started with), I decided to take the plunge and get a TWSBI Vac pen–it’s a pen that runs over $50 (which I never thought I would spend on a pen),
A SWEET Freebie for you!
I’ve been blogging for a while, and luckily I’ve been able to meet some great people, as well as be inspired by the giving nature of bloggers as a whole. A few months ago I was making some stationery–and I’m sharing it with you. This is for personal use only, please no resale. Let me know if you have any questions. Feel free to share what you use the stationery for in the comments below,
Top Chef, Manga-Style: Food Wars Vol 1
Soma is part of his family’s small restaurant–a hole in the wall. While he and his father have a little bit of a competitive relationship, especially when it relates to cooking, his father enrolls Soma in an elite cooking school. The school has stringent standards, and only a ten percent graduation rate.
After a huge cooking competition to prove he belongs,
::Happy Mail:: Valentine’s Day Swap
My penpal group has some pretty awesome swaps now and again. Actually, I enjoy ALL of the swaps throughout the month that the League of Extraordinary Penpals (LEP) does. This month was no different. I got to send a package to Brandi, up north (still in California) and she sent me a bunch of goodies in reply.
The picture is above–some dove hearts (I love these,
Wilawaloco – The Stickers You Need
I stumbled across some majestic Bob’s Burgers planner stickers recently, thanks to a penpal of all things! I was able to snap some up. I recommend Tina on a unicorn.
I will have to post pictures of how I am integrating them soon. If you want to pick some up, please check out their site!
